For coffee, for the invitation to go to join friends at their home for dinner tonight, for the helicopters outside my house all morning finally buzzing off and away.

And I hadn't had a chance to post on Sat 9/11, but I'm thankful that that Quran burning didn't happen.

Having some amazing food at a friend's home, meeting some new friends, talking about the child my friends have on the way (I think they'll be great parents!), going and seeing some great art. All on a beautiful post-summer eve. ... I'm thankful to have spent a really nice evening with some good people.
