I am grateful for people who start threads that remind that we are, indeed, grateful.

I am also grateful for my universal remote caddy, that keeps my beloved controller up high and away from my 13 month old son (who I am also grateful for), so he does not throw it in the toilet (the fate of the last one).

Which reminds me, I was once grateful for an inexpensive toilet seat lock that saved me from having to disassemble and reassemble the commode a third time.

A place to sit and be quiet when I'm overwhelmed.

What I can fix and what I cannot fix, and the wisdom to know the difference.

"Sweetie" aka Mrs Psalmist, I couldn't imagine my life without her.

The ability to read and write.

The nursing home ministry.

And yes, of course, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.​

And also an eventual reduction of discomfort in a 14 hour bout of indigestion....
