A person, a town even a country can establish a good standard of living based on wood they have grown and sold at market prices.

A person, a town even a country could never survive even on day on the energy they produce with solar, and or wind energy sold at market prices. At market prices, they would lose on every KW sold. They will have to buy energy from others to sustain their fairy tale of renewable energy scheme.

You probably meant to say that you despise the woman. Period.

Puzzlingly, you accuse her of bullying, childishness, ignorance and intimidation--something our genital-grabbing president does every day.

AND, I don’t see you honoring the memory of Jesus at all.

Children who were hit, hit their own children.
    Children who were humiliated, humiliate.
Children who were disrespected, cannot show respect.
Children whose souls were murdered, murder others.

Children who were abused--verbally, sexually or physically--develop disturbing and irreversible changes in their brain and neurological system.

...The energy of the sun makes the tree grow.
    Your mind-reading is unpersuasive.

The number of cities reporting they are predominantly powered by clean energy has more than doubled since 2015, as momentum builds for cities around the world to switch from fossil fuels to renewable sources.

Your opinion apparently has put blinders on your eyes.

I know it is difficult to give attention to ideas you have discounted all your life.
I believe that America and other nations have both commitment and ambition.
    I know I do.

A small farm town in Missouri [I forget its name!] has been wholly powered by wind energy since the 70s, if I remember right.

Kodiak Island in Alaska sustains itself by both wind and water renewables.

Burlington, Vermont bought a hydro-power plant.

The town once relied heavily on coal and is now powered by a combination of energy from burning wood chips, wind, solar, landfill methane and hydropower.

"During times of high demand, Burlington might use a small amount of power that comes from fossil fuels, but it generates and trades enough renewable energy during the year to effectively cancel out that usage. The city estimates it will save $20 million over the next two decades."

Aspen, Colorado set a goal of 100% use of renewable in 2007. By 2014 it reached 80% compliance and buys wind power from other states to bridge the gap.

This is true. This is real data. This is fact.

    You will soon know it.
    I know it already.
And the American people are constantly learning of it.

I know thinking is harder than insults but give it a try, it really isn't that painful to think

Wood is renewable, energy is not.

So what we can't see and what is very hard to calculate is that, the energy used to grow the tree, the wind and the sunlight and the evaporated water add's up to more energy than the wood contains. Again we don't see and we surely don't care about those numbers. But they are there and you can't renew energy. Physical laws preclude renewing energy.

The tree is being naturally watered ( a lot of energy), naturally sunned ( more energy) and the breeze that supplies it with CO2 (even more energy). If you add all the energy use to grow the tree, the energy that the wood has falls far short of the total captured from the sun. You can't get around that you can't renew energy.

1st law of thermodynamics. Captain planet is not mentioned in any of the physical laws that I know of.

You forgot to mention the side effects of having tree farms for building, firewood, etc...

the trees are absorbing CO2 and producing O2.

‘I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD I NEARLY CRIED’: WSJ’S KIMBERLEY STRASSEL CAN’T GET OVER GREEN NEW DEAL
    https://dailycaller.com/2019/02/07/w...reen-new-deal/

The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberley Strassel was not impressed by the rollout of the proposed Green New Deal — in fact, she argued Thursday that “if a bunch of GOPers plotted to forge a fake Democratic bill showing how bonkers the party is, they could not have done a better job.”

As Democrats rolled out the resolution, notably backed by freshman Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the commentary and criticisms rolled out as well. Strassel was firmly and decidedly in the camp of the latter

TWEET: 1) By the end of the Green New Deal resolution (and accompanying fact sheet) I was laughing so hard I nearly cried. If a bunch of GOPers plotted to forge a fake Democratic bill showing how bonkers the party is, they could not have done a better job. It is beautiful. #GreenNewDeal

Strassel followed her initial tweet with a series of key points to illustrate her initial assessment. The facilities and turbines required to deliver “renewable electricity” on the scale described in the GND, for example, would take up more space than the entire state of California

TWEET: 2) See Ron Bailey for look at sheer number of turbines, solar panels, facilities necessary just for the "renewable electricity" bit. Wud need 500k square km, bigger than California. Also note, govt will pay for these--not private sector. https://reason.com/blog/2019/02/07/g...socialism-by-o

Logistics would also likely pose a problem, Strassel noted.

TWEET: 3) Also, AOC would put charging stations "everywhere," upgrade or tear down "every building" in the country (homes and businesses), install high-speed rail across every state, upgrade all our infrastructure. (Maybe once Ds allow permitting reform? LOL. LOL. LOL.)

Plant a seed in a arid cave , you supply the water, you supply the light, you supply the CO2, a fan to make sure the CO2 gets to the leafs, ventilation to make sure the O2 gets out and the seed will grow, but the wood will never supply the energy that you used to grow the tree.

Plant a seed "outside" where it is naturally watered and gets natural sunlight and natural wind blows and you will get a great benefit from that tree..

Wood is renewable, energy is not.

Except the document never once says "charging stations" and says nothing about tearing anything down. High Speed rail is mentioned only once in that they would seek investment in it.

You don't think we need to invest in our infrastructure? You think high-speed rail is a bad idea?

The Green New Deal isn't going to happen. So, why lie about what it actually says?
