I've dealt with mental illness in my life and had no choice but to recognize it, come to terms with it and counteract it. Was this just a cheap shot?
Well this is fun isn't it?

An odd truth, but a truth. Not most of orthodox Christendom, of course, but some of the weaker branches. Then there's Scientology. They hate it like sand sandwiches. Islam isn't wild about it either, though it is allowed so long as it is subordinate to religious teaching. I'm not sure how other religions treat it.

    Not necessarily it isn't.

Do people who have done nothing wrong have mental illness?

What about people who have sinned? Do they all have mental illness?

Maybe these are some things to think about.

People say that I have mental illness but I do not believe that I do. I do believe that I have been drugged. And I do not believe that someone who is fine should try any drug. Not even someone who is not fine or okay.

There are some denominations for which demons cause things like OCD, superstitions, suicide attempts.
For instance, there are a lot of people with OCD and superstition in the Catholic denomination; and, there are many suicides in the Mormon denomination when young people attempt to leave it.
However, there are also some people who are born with brain damage.

Yeah, you're just full of class...or something.

Otherwise, my response was in answer to Lucian and if you're another nut that denies the reality of mental illness then once again, clueless as ever.

    (Oh, and please stop projecting)
Well this is fun isn't it?

Can we take this incident as an example that mental illness could be a punishment for our sinful actions, and if so, is any attempt to treat mental illness through other means than seeking Gog's forgiveness futile?

If you think it is for you then it is.
I know Him, correctly, as Messiah whom you call Christ. Yah Shua whom you call Jesus. Messianists who you call Christians.

"Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm".

I refuse, point blank, to speak peace to the unregenerate, hypocrites, religious dogma lovers and those that oppose the following statement:
A regenerate man trusts in the evangelism of salvation conditioned on the atoning blood and imputed justness of Messiah alone.
If you are fully persuaded, by experience, of this delightful, beautiful and life giving doctrine then I love you as a brother.

Anyone who thinks that salvation is conditioned on anything a man thinks, does or says is atheist. I cannot and will not speak peace to him or her.

I don't make statements online that I wouldn't repeat in front of my Maker, my grandmother or a judge.
