The Role of the Man as a Follower of Christ

How are men to live their lives? Men who are Christians? If we follow Christ what does that look like for us as men? I personally do not have my own family. But men have responsibility for something, if even as individuals, if even as an individual. What is important about being a man? How do we in the body of Christ live our lives? Is it different from the way the world lives? Do we ever as Christians observe the Law or is that off limits for Christians? Do men protect others beginning with family?
    Bereishit - Genesis - Chapter 1

1 In the beginning of God's creation of the heavens and the earth.
    :א בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֵ֥ת הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וְאֵ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ

In beginning He created God the heavens and the earth

How are men to live their lives?
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God, and keep His commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man.

    Ecclesiastes 12:13

    Men who are Christians?
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him,
    If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed;
    John 8:31

If we follow Christ what does that look like for us as men?
Whosoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them,
I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

    Matthew 7:24

What is important about being a man?
Gird up thy loins now like a man:
I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me.

    Job 40:7

How do we in the body of Christ live our lives?
If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
    John 14:15

Is it different from the way the world lives?
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you:
not as the world gives, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

    John 14:27

Do we ever as Christians observe the Law or is that off limits for Christians?
    If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love;
even as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love.

    John 15:10

Do men protect others beginning with family?
Thou shalt keep therefore His statutes, and His commandments, which I command thee this day,
that it may go well with thee,
and with thy children after thee,
and that thou may prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God gives thee, for ever.

    Deuteronomy 4:40

    If thou shalt indeed obey His voice, and do all that I speak;
then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

    Exodus 22:23

I guess what I am trying to say is, the answers you seek are in the scriptures.
    Bless Jesus.

I do not know what to do with your post.

John 13:34 NASB - "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

John 15:12 NASB - "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

I suppose quoting these verses may help someone.

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord.
To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous,
but for you it is safe.

What is a man in relation to family, friends, the world? What is a man in the body of Christ? What about a profession or the work a man does in life?

If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother,
and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters,
yea, and his own life also,
    he cannot be My disciple.

I found I could love them better, after I had forsaken all earthly attachments.
And they love me better, now that I have become a happy saved man.

    Thanks to Jesus.

Is not this the fast that I have chosen?
to loose the bands of wickedness,
    to undo the heavy burdens,
and to let the oppressed go free,
and that ye break every yoke?

Interesting. I do not know what you mean by this.

    Sounds good.
