It seems to me that the one who loses his argument on scripture and then attempts to distract from his loss that "the other guy must be in a cult" is the one who is willfully screwing up. False accusation is a mark of that which God hates, and the character of the evil one.

    Proverbs 6:16-19 KJV
    (16) These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
    (17) A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
    (18) An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
    (19) A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Remember that when you hit bottom.

The will of God from Paul. . . .

"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you", Galatians 4:19 (KJV)
"That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;" Philippians 2:15 (KJV)
