    The NRA story: "If you don't let crazy people have assault rifles, you'll all be rounded up and sent to extermination camps."

    Guess why the NRA is having a hard time, about now.

    36 School shooters/school related violence committed by those under the influence of psychiatric drugs
    Fact: At least 36 school shootings and/or school-related acts of violence have been committed by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in 172 wounded and 80 killed (in other school shootings, information about their drug use was never made public—neither confirming or refuting if they were under the influence of prescribed drugs). The most important fact about this list, is that these are only cases where the information about their psychiatric drug use was made public.

    We need better control of psychiatric drugs, since they seem to be the leading cause of school shootings.

    Show us that. Wearing jeans is more strongly correlated with school shootings than almost anything else.

    I'd be interested in your data as to the percentage of kids on psychiatric drugs who shoot up schools. What have you got?

    Gun Control History

    Turkey/Armenia, the Soviet Union, China, Guatemala, Uganda, Cambodia - "CherubRam" conveniently omits the most relevant analogy in US history, the American Civil War!

    The Civil War demonstrated conclusively that well regulated militias lacked both the manpower and resources to defeat a standing military over an extended period!

    There is that. And the situation today is much, much worse for any ad hoc militia, than it was in the 1860s.

    the first person on the links list was Kendrex J. White who had taken 2 “happy pills,”which we are told is zoloft.
    side effects for zoloft are:
    very stiff (rigid) muscles, high fever, sweating, confusion, fast or uneven heartbeats, feeling like you might pass out;
    agitation, fever, overactive reflexes, tremors;
    nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, feeling unsteady, loss of coordination; or
    headache, trouble concentrating, memory problems, weakness, fainting, seizure, shallow breathing or breathing that stops.
    drowsiness, dizziness, tired feeling;
    mild nausea, stomach pain, upset stomach, constipation;
    dry mouth;
    changes in appetite or weight;
    sleep problems (insomnia); or
    decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm.

    The only matching side effect between your lost and Zoloft's side effects is agitation. but since white was described as “calmly walked around the plaza,” i think that side effect can be ruled out

    Chris Plaskon was medications for ADHD. most likely Vyvanse. When prescribed for ADHD that drug's side effects are
    Anxiety, Decreased appetite, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Dry mouth, Loss of appetite Nausea, Trouble sleeping. , Upper stomach pain, Vomiting, Weight loss.

    We don't have a list of the drugs given to him at the mental health facility he had previously been in and the side effects that happen when you stop taking psychiatric drugs are more likely the cause of the homicidal thoughts than the side effects of a drug you are taking.

    You did miss these side effects of Zoloft:
    • Abnormal thoughts
    • Delusions
    • Hostility
    • Psychotic episodes
    • Violent behavior
