    The Wrath of God

Nobody wants to talk about the wrath of God. God has emotions, just like us. When he gets mad he exhibits his wrath. If it wasn't for his Son Jesus Christ he would have wrapped up this whole universe in one big ball of fire when Adam sinned. Thankfully, God knew that Adam was going to sin and that Jesus would atone for his sin and the sins of the whole world before the foundation of the world, Revelation 13:8.

For now, God sees ALL THINGS in his Son Jesus Christ. Those that are "In Christ" will not experience God's wrath, but those that are not "In Christ" will in the judgment.

"He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that does not believe on the Son shall not see life; BUT THE WRATH OF GOD ABIDES ON HIM" John 3:36.

Paul said that the wrath of God would come upon the "Children of disobedience" Ephesians 5:6 also Colossians 3:6 and then he said that the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, WHO HOLD THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, Romans 1:18. That would include all of the cults and all religions that have not obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Romans 10:16. To obey the Gospel means to cease from your own works or religion and to rest or trust in the work of Christ for your salvation.

"For we which do believe have entered into HIS REST, as he has said, As I have sworn in my wrath, IF THEY SHALL NOT ENTER INTO MY REST: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world" Hebrews 4:3.

This scripture also pertains to the Israelites that were disobedient in the wilderness and would not enter into the promised land because of unbelief and disobedience, Hebrews 3:10. What it amounts to is do you believe God? God sends Jesus into the world to be our savior. All that Jesus is and all that Jesus does is for our justification and our salvation. By faith in him and in his Gospel we have eternal life, John 3:16. Do you believe God? If you believe God, then it is the Gospel plus nothing. If it is the Gospel plus something, then it is no longer the Gospel and you have not entered into his rest.

Children of disobedience to what? Seems like it is more than just faith or merely believe...

The Wrath looked for more than belief but evidence of that belief on doorposts one midnight long ago...

And those that obediently rest now as instructed to do, indeed rest now and believe more rest eternal awaits...

    It is coming:

Revelation 16 The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath

    2 Peter 3:12
as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

    The tribulation begins 2022..

If the work of salvation is done and God sees you as perfect and complete in Christ then what can you do to add to that? The answer is nothing. This is why... "The Just Shall Live By Faith" Romans 1:17.

You teach that sinners Christ died for, shed His Blood for, propitiated God for are still lost and under Gods wrath and condemned !

You are outside of the faith and are under the wrath of God.

    Goodness me. Another repeat diatribe.

How can God withhold grace and Christ’s atonement from some of His creatures and then condemn them to the Lake of Fire for all eternity for not accepting what was never offered to them?

How can God hold the non-elect responsible for ‘not believing’ and damn them for it, when He deliberately did not give them the faith to enable them to believe in the first place?

Calvinists believe the elect must be regenerated before they are given the faith to believe the gospel. But how can they be regenerated through the gospel when they can’t understand the gospel until regenerated?

If the faith to believe in Jesus Christ is given through irresistible grace as a gift, why does the Bible command and exhort us to believe in Jesus Christ? Why give commands that are impossible to obey?

Why are there so many warnings in the Bible to believers not to drift away, Heb. 2:1, not to fall away Heb. 4:11, not to come short of the grace of God, Heb. 12:15, not to shrink back, Heb. 10:28, not to be carried away by unprincipled men and fall from their steadfastness, 2 Peter 3:17, and not to desert Christ, Gal. 1:6? If all the elect are assured of persevering to the end, then why are there all of these warnings?

    Hey B57,

    Bonus question for you

    If the following is true:

John Smith is deliberately foreordained to commit sin

Is hated by God before he is born

Is predestined to go to hell before he is born

Cannot repent because God deliberately refuses to give him the gift of repentance

Cannot believe because God deliberately refuses to give him the gift of faith

Was not, is not and never will be loved by God in the slightest degree

Was deliberately excluded from the group of people Jesus died for on the cross so that salvation was intentionally and for ever put completely out of his reach:

Then, how is it John Smith’s fault that he will end up burning forever in the Lake of Fire?

Please let us know how you get by answering these questions.

    Thanks

I don't? I did? Where? You are full of false accusations, just like your father.
