    Nonsense.

I know the scripture well, and too know how you remove nearly all meaning of scripture from its intended meaning into something for your own little benefit.

I didn't persecute or revile you. And I surely haven't said any false evil about you.

All my words about you are based on your own words that you use in an attempt to boost your placement above others.

I have a class that takes about 30 hours to participate in that could answer all of yours. You interested?

Or maybe you could get to the point and tell us to that one question of mine.

You don't have to beat around the bush, you can answer directly.
    Oatmeal;

I apologize for moving your thread off topic.

    I'm done.

I didn't mean to deviate from the topic at hand.

    Got it.

So you just misrepresented the truth then? You didn't intentionally lie?

I'm not buying it, but whatever.

And no; the truth is one of the few things I still fight for.
Seems as if you can't grasp it:

The unregenerate do not and cannot seek that which is good, just and true.

They do however get ensnared by Satan as you have been and are set in the broad way that leads to destruction.

"There is a way that seems right to a man that leads to destruction".

He's full of condemation and hate fuelled rants, reviling those who believe it's right to obey God and live by his will. Whilst setting himself on his pedestal of pride and self glorification. This isn't the way of God, God looks for a humility coming from a humble heart, one who loves him more than anything and cares for others as themselves, not hating and looking down on them as truster does.

Hopefully he'll get his eyes opened one day, and come down a peg or two and stop thinking that he's above everyone else!

You are proof of original sin. You are proof that man is unable to seek that which is good, just and true. You are proof of spiritual death that the sons of Adam inherit.

This oft repeated verse fits you, so wear it:

That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Yes and that's not living by the will of God and obeying him. And truly following Jesus.

The Broadway is the way of the world and is death and darkness, the way of Jesus Christ is the way to life and light in God!

Have you seen it says that there is a way that seems right to a man? And that's the way that leads to destruction?

Man's way is self self self, putting themselves first, but the way of Christ Jesus is putting God first. Man's way leads to distruction.

John: 6. 26. Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 27. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. 28. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29. Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. 30. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? 33. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 41. The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. 42. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? 44. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. 46. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. 47. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 48. I am that bread of life. 49. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 63. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 66. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 70. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? 71. He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Not a problem, if you needed to vent, this thread is as good as any.

Was God directing the people who mocked and spit on him?

Was God directing the people who cuffed him with their fists?

Was God directing the people who whipped him mercilessly?

Was God directing the people who nailed him to the tree?

What did Jesus say about who was going to be doing all that?

    John 14:30

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Who is the prince of this world?

Who offered to Jesus the kingdoms of this world when Jesus was out in the wilderness for forty day and forty nights?

    Luke 4:5-8

5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

The Devil is the prince of this world.

If the Devil was bluffing, Jesus Christ would have called him on it.

Jesus Christ offered his perfect life in exchange for our corrupted lives.

He paid the price to release us from the bondage that Satan had us in.

God was just to himself, to us and to the Devil in paying the ransom, the price of His only begotten son.

Yes. Read and believe your Bible. And it pleased him to do so.

    No, God was not.

He knew the price to be paid and His son willingly paid it.

It pleased God that His son humbled himself and willingly took on our sins and paid for our redemption and salvation.

When we recognize the Hebrew idiom of permission then we realize that God allowed that to happen to his son.

God knew what His son would go through, and told him so through the OT scriptures.
