But here is a 4th grade response:

So when you express that you do not like what a psychopath does, it is NO REASON to think of him as a psychopath?

    You guys are a riot!
He is certainly violent and murderous, but no one has offered any evidence of stupidity, craziness, psychological problems or psychopathy. Being violent when that is what may guarantee his survival does not mean he must be crazy. Quite the contrary.

North Korea details Guam strike plan and calls Trump 'bereft of reason.' The US has a naval base in Guam and the island is home to Andersen air base, which has six B-1B heavy bombers. In the mean time Iran and Russia have been buzzing over our war ships. Obviously these nations are testing the waters for weaknesses for a first strike.

Normally when people talk and act crazy, it is because they are. But what If Mr. Kim is just ill advised?

He seems to think that other nations will jump in to help defeat America. If other nations have convinced Kim of that, then maybe he would attempt a first strike.

So the question here is, is he: Crazy, or, ill advised?
Not sure what is meant by crazy. Something in the DSM?

He is dangerous unquestionably. He is a dictator with all that entails. He will kill even his own brother. I expect he is full of himself and probably thinks he doesn't need advise.

Would he not back down? Would he rather start a thermonuclear war than to look bad? Trump said he has not said anything publicly since Trump's fury and fire remarks. There have been statements out of NK, but I am not aware of any directly from Kim. That could be a sign of self-preservation which is a positive indicator. Will he surrender his nukes or dismantle them? I doubt it. If China cuts off all trade with NK that would let us know his mental state when he is affected directly. Obviously he doesn't care about his people. But as the quote below shows humans are tribal and it is easy to lead them to war. He is in charge and his people will not question him. He certainly knows how to make them disappear.

“Of course the people don’t want war. But after all, it’s the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it’s a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.”

North Korea's behavior is horrible, but completely logical. Everybody is afraid to attack them, especially now that they have nuclear capabilities.

Iran is well on its way to the same situation. And the US has allowed that happen. Predictably.

Who was going to attack them for the past fifty years?

And as far as being afraid of attacking them, remember the last guy to mouth off about stockpiling WMDs?

The same countries who all worried today could have taken care of the problem much easier long ago. US. Japan. South Korea.

Saddam Hussein wasn't insane either. It was a fair gamble that the US would not do anything. The NOrth Koreans have been playing this game for a long time, and nobody has stopped them. Likewise for Iran

Japan wasn't prevented from having a military. South Korea exists because of the US intervention. How could SK stop NK from development. War? We have the t-shirt.
How do we, being the world police and all, stop the almost 200 countries from developing nukes? Regular rounds of invasions as we become suspect? Sanctions haven't done much.
