    Yes, and no.

Do you no longer care about the moral character of the person *you* are electing? Is adultery now family value?

Doesn't this seem a bit convenient in timing?

You really need to get over your former husband
cheating on you. Like your ex, Trump seems to
be getting smarter, I would give him credit for that.

Nobody is saying Trump is perfect,
just that he is smart enough to win,
and would be a refreshing change
    from corrupt and incompetent
    politicians.

Personal, nasty insult that has nothing whatsoever to do with what so many on here keep claiming. FAMILY VALUES. Do you consider adultery to be a family value? IF it's no big deal, just say so.

I DO know that there are many on here who have always taken the position that adulterers and fornicators should be stoned. What a new twist ... now they will be voted into leading the country.

I didn't say he needs to be perfect. Is adultery now a family value and a quality you would hope for in a leader?

IF you believe it is, then you need to get off your high horse and quit judging others in regards to their moral standards.

If you are looking for moral character in a church leader or social club I would say yes but, if you are searching for this deep moral character without flaw in a politician? I don't think you will find it. They may put up a good front but, almost all politicians are bought and paid for. When you are hiring a person to do a job are you more interested in experience or in how they live their personal life? This is a secular post not a spiritual post, the presidency that is, and I am absolutely sure that Trump has the credentials to lead a large corporation, agency, or government successfully, that is what is important to the future of this nation and my children...having a nation where they are free to prosper and not buried in the debt that liberal socialism is offering.

Oh, I see the trick here...only liberals are allowed to change their mind or heart about an issue. Do you ever change your mind? is there anything (politically speaking) where you have had a change of mind or heart Rusha? Just curious.

My sentiments exactly. I would have loved for Romney to win...we wouldn't be in this pit we're in now.

Another excellent point. He is able to rethink something and isn't afraid to admit it. Like the legalizing drugs thing. He said now that he's seem the bad results of legalization, he isn't so sure he wouldn't be against it now.

The fact is that a president can't change laws concerning abortion, etc. We don't live in a dictatorship (although Bambi doesn't seem to know that).

I hear what you're saying, Rusha, but this country will never again elect a man with "family values". We are truly the "moral minority" at this point in time. The family unit is being persecuted at every turn, and it won't be getting any better until the Lord returns.

Gotta give Cruz credit on this one. Made the reporter look like the programmed drone he is.

By that measure, how many professing Christians are on their way to the Lake of Fire?

What you *see* certainly is not related to anything I have posted.

Do you ever change your mind?
On important issues, no. I have been anti-abortion/pro-death penalty/anti-adultery since my early teen years. Do you have an argument against my stance on those issues?

is there anything (politically speaking) where you have had a change of mind or heart Rusha? Just curious.
    See above.

I get that ... I just see Trump as a bottom feeder in regards to Republican candidates. They have better options. At least Mitt Romney put his children and ONLY spouse above his overactive libido.

I figure it takes two to tango. Look at his wives. They weren't Donna Reed.

True ... and Marla will always be "the other woman". An accomplice. However, Trump was the person who betrayed his spouse and children.

Mitt Romney was a liberal RINO weakling who did not have the stones to take a firm stand on anything. The man was a pathetic failure as a political leader...he never stood a chance given he had no spine. He may be a moral man but, he was a weak man as leadership goes, you have to be strong & convicted to be able to convince people to follow and that in a nutshell is leadership. Some of the greatest leaders in history have been failures on the personal front, that is why I asked if you were picking a leader or a husband...I wasn't just being sarcastic Rusha. America faces some very tough choices ahead, we as a country cannot keep racking up debt and giving away freebies to citizens & non-citizens alike and continue to survive, I believe this election will be possibly the last chance to turn that trend around and it will require leadership & tough choices on the part of Americans to restore this nation. I believe Trump if anything is making the entire field address the realities of what our nation faces, whether they like him or not he is bringing to the forefront everything that politicians wish would just be left alone and for that I respect Trump. Whether he wins or not he is unapologetic, blunt, and quite politically incorrect about all the right things....it is quite refreshing.

God, much to my bewilderment, chose Jacob, a real stinker. Then He chose David, an extremely flawed man. Then He chose Moses, a hot tempered murderer.
But these three men loved God with all of their hearts and they were able to rally men to them. They were leaders. God chose men who could accomplish His purposes.
We need leaders who can accomplish God's purposes and they are not usually very nice men according to polite society.
