Elect of God !

Col 3:12

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

No Matter what men may say, Election is 1000 % of God, and man has no active part in it at all, for its totally of God's Grace Rom 11:5-6

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Note: No more works also means no conditions.

Also the following portions make this point Mk 13:20

20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

The emphasis here is that God has done the choosing !

That Truth is conveyed in Ps 65:4

4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

The False Teachers of our day would reverse this and would say Blessed is the man that choosest God..

God's choosing must be the foundation stone of Election !

elect of God !

The emphasis here is that God has done the choosing ! Thats the emphasis in the Gospel of the Grace of God !
Now Many would object and say that those scriptures mean the jews Rom 11:5 & Mark 13:20 which is not true, though some ethnic jews will be included, but its relevance is to all the elect of God of every nation..
So in Mark 13:20
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
These elect are men and women of every nation in the great tribulation, and again, they are ones God Hath Chosen for Himself..
The Point of the Gospel is that men are elect because of God's choosing, and not men choosing God. Eph 1:4
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Again its God who does the choosing, with the added feature, for we the elect are chosen unto holiness, that it shall happen, and not chosen because we are Holy, Holiness is the fruit of election, not the cause of it.
Notice again 1 Thess 1:4
4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
Notice, knowing, your election of God versus your choosing God ! The emphasis is again that election is God's act. Now how is it Paul can make a statement as such, unless election as God's act had been a prominent subject matter in His preaching the gospel to them ?
If one does not Preach election in the gospel they are preaching, and that its a absolute Sovereign Act of God based upon His own imperial will, not in consideration of the acts and works of men, then they are preaching a false gospel..

Election by Christ !

Jn 13:18

18I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

Now even though judas was chosen to be an apostle, Jesus careful wording here seems to exclude him from the salvation aspect of being chosen as the others to bear fruit Jn 15:16

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that

Now at this time, judas was not among them, he departed shortly after Christ statement in Jn 13:19 -30

So it is obvious that judas had not been chosen to bear fruit ! But understand this, that even judas being chosen by Christ to fulfill a prophecy, shows the Sovereignty of God and Christ over the ways of the non elect, for they have been chosen to fulfill and accomplish the Divine will to the hilt. Even though not chosen to salvation.

Thats why Jesus says that He has power over all flesh [Jn 17:2], that is all human beings, the sheep and the goats, the wheat and the tares, the children of God and the Children of the wicked one..

And the emphasis is on Christ Choosing them, and not them choosing Christ, as today's false gospel and false concept of election goes.

Election is not only of God, but it is also in Christ Eph 1:3-4
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
This is a most profound Truth, that presupposes Two Things, #1 Christ, the Mediator and the Head of the Church, existed for real before the foundation of the world; He is before all things in this capacity :
Col 1:17-18
17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 a And he is the head of the body, the church:
Jn 17:5
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
And #2 He had a seed or offspring in Him at that time [Isa 9:6 He is a everlasting Father]
And so thats what is meant by being in Him or in Christ before the world began, or being chosen in Him before the world began.
For its anti type of how we were chosen in Adam at the beginning of the world, the physical lives of all he [Adam] represented was in him at his creation, they were his seed, his offspring, and so in like manner, all the spiritual offspring of Christ was in Him when He was begotten by the Father before the world began, His seed Isa 53:10
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
And just as we could not choose to be in Adam to derive our physical being from him, neither can we choose to be in Christ to derive our spiritual being from Him, this is a work of God.
By this [Election in Christ] also is meant that every elect individual is comprehended in the Son of God, and finds acceptance with God only because of Him Eph 1:6.
Those who reject Gods election in His Son, find it within themselves or what they do, which makes them accepted of God, even if its their false humility.

Purpose of Preaching !

I believe its only befitting to make this comment about preaching as I witness to the Truths of the Gospel..

Lets look at Two scriptures to this end:

Isa 55:11

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

2 Cor 2:14-17

14Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

15For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

16To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

17For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

The Purpose of God in having the gospel preached is governed by His decree of double predestination. It is God's one whole purpose to Glorify His Saving Grace in Jesus Christ through the conversion of His elect by the preaching of the gospel [1 Cor 1:21], and also to Glorify His justice in the condemnation and eternal punishment of the reprobate: For there are those God has loved in Christ before the foundation of the world per Jn 17:23-24

23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

and they were made according to God's Eternal purpose vessels of mercy, which He has prepared beforehand for Glory [see Rom 9] and then there are those God hated, leaving them outside the purpose of election, outside of Christ, purposing to withold His Grace and Mercy thereby constituting them vessels of wrath and fitting them for destruction, and hence this lays the foundation of Gospel Preaching or witnessing..

As stated in Isa 55 11, Gods purpose for His preached word going out will prosper [be successful] in the thing whereto I sent it..

To be either Life unto Life or Death unto Death..

Preaching more of the Gospel of the Grace of God !

Acts 20:24

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

You know to testify of the Grace of God is also to preach it. Its used in that connection here Acts 10:42

42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Now if we recall, it was to the Ephesian Elders that Paul spoke of Testifying of the Gospel of the Grace of God Acts 20:17

17And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

And so we cannot but believe that the First Two chapters of that epistle [ Ephesians] contains many subjects of that Grace that He [Paul] Testified to in the gospel, hence the Apostle magnifying the Glory of God's Grace in Christ, testified that we were Chosen in Him before the foundation Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: see Rom 11:5 election of Grace !

This is Gospel of God's Grace that Paul testified to the Ephesians, and also, By Grace we are predestined to the adoption of Children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will Eph 1:5, now here is the revelation of Grace, Why does God predestinate some [not all] to adoption in Christ ? Notice vs

6a To the praise of the glory of his grace, for Grace, not faith, not freewill, not repentance or any obedience of men, but purely by Grace have we been made accepted in the beloved..

6b wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

You see that ? God made us accepted, not we ourselves..

It is according the riches of His Grace that elect sinners have redemption through His Blood and forgiveness of sins vs 7

7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

God by unveiling the Mystery of His will in Christ causes the riches of His Grace to abound towards elect sinners vs 8, Grace brings God's mercy and Great Love in Christ to make alive dead sinners Eph 2:4-5

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved ) Grace Saves !

Grace is God's Spiritual Power working effectually on our behalf Eph 3:7

7Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Eph 2:8

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Grace raises up the elect up, through Faith, and gives them to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus..

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

This is Paul Preaching the Gospel of the Grace of God.. No freewill of men in this Gospel..

Perverting the Grace of God !

Jude 1:4

4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Perverting the Grace of God, thats what false teachers do. There is no doubt that many have perverted the Grace of God as they may claim that it gives them a license to sin and sensuality, and all manner of ungodly living. Yet there is another avenue, very subtle, on how false teachers turn the Grace into lasciviousness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ

The way this is done is by these false teachers to impose the ideal of careless living, whenever the Sovereignty and Saving power of Grace is proclaimed.

Instead of accepting the Truth about God's Grace and its effectual working, these false teachers claim, if God's Grace be so, then it gives men a excuse to live carelessly. The Fact of the matter is that its only by this very Sovereign Grace that any can walk pleasing to God 1 Cor 15:10

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

More on Perverting the Grace of God !

Another way today's religionists pervert the Grace of God, is with the false teaching of what is called common grace ! This ungodly concept perverts the Grace of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, reducing it to something less than what it is, which is the working of the effectual spiritual power of God Eph 3:7

7Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

This same grace is given by the effectual working of His [God's ] Power to each member of the Church that Christ died for, to convert them to His service and the work of the ministry. No all will not be apostles, but all have a work of service for the same body that they have been created in Christ for as per Eph 2:10

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Notice created in Christ Jesus ! Thats by the effectual working of God's power and giving of Grace..

Those who teach God's Grace to be less than this, degrades the Glory of God's Grace which God would have praised Eph 1:6

6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Now How could this be called common ? When salvation and all that accompany it, is for the Praise of the GLORY of His Grace..

This Grace is not common folks, and those who teach it is, will surely give account for their perversion of God's Grace in the Judgment.

Scripture designates Christ as the Last Adam 1 Cor 15:45, so we are told that the First Adam was the Figure of Him to come Rom 15:14, all the many ways Adam was a figure of Christ, the most significant is that of Federal Head of a Race. God had him in a covenant relationship [Hos 6:7] and so he stood and fell as the legal Representative of all his Family, for when he sinned, they sinned, when he died, they died in him [Rom 5:12-19]. So likewise the same with the second Adam, for He also stood as the covenant Representative of all His People, being legally one with them, in that He assumed and remitted their liabilities and responsibility. The birth of Christ in the flesh was the beginning manifestation of the Eternal Union between Him and His People given to Him, so it is written Heb 2:14

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; for they were truly then:

Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Hence Christ was a Federal Head , meaning that there was a official oneness existing between the Mediator Son of God, and those for whom He Mediated [His Covenant People as typified by Israel] which means there is a legal union between Christ and His People.

Now the Gospel is founded on the premise that Adam and Jesus Christ are Covenant Heads and Representatives of their respective generations or offspring; for this cause they are termed " The First Man and the Second Man 1 Cor 15:47, as if there had been no other but themselves, for the Offspring of each were entirely dependent on them, for in Adam all die, and in Christ all are made alive 1 Cor 15:22, the First all includes all of Mankind, though satan's offspring was added after sin, and the last Adam includes all which had been Chosen in Christ 1 Cor 1:30; Eph 1:4; 1 Cor 15:23. This is important to establish exactly who it was Christ died for, that is Key to the Gospel.

The Gospel should proclaim that Christ died and shed His Blood according to a everlasting covenant Heb 13:20

20 NOW the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

The blood of the everlasting covenant is that of the blood of the cross Col 1:20

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

And as a Covenant Head He died [ The Shepherd of the sheep], and the Father covenanted with Him in this Official capacity, and so in a real sense the covenant was with also all them for whom Christ was a covenant head unto:

With this in mind we can better understand Paul's words in Gal 2:20; Rom 6:8; Rom 6:4; Eph 2:6, so they were legally one with Him, just as in adam and he with them, in all He did in rendering a full obedience and satisfaction to God [Matt 3:15], these things are a vital truth in understanding the work and gospel of Christ Rom 5:12-19. in this passage it is affirmed that the chosen of God are legally made righteous on the same premise by which they were made legally sinners, for union with Christ is of the same order, and involves the same class of effects as with Adam, this is termed a living federal union, hence all the elect or all for whom Christ died are made the righteousness of God in Him 2 Cor 5:21.

When we read Rom 5:19 with understanding, we see the Scriptures emphatically affirming that Christ saved by His obedience as well as by His Sufferings.

Heb 2:11 They are all one !

Preaching the death of Christ, one of the most neglected Truths in preaching Christ and Him crucified is that Christ atoning work was a federal work, that there was an official union or oneness between Christ and those for whom He died and now intercedes for, for He died as their Mediator. There was in God's eye a legal oneness between Christ and His People. Before the foundation of the world and before Adam, God's elect were chosen in Christ Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

And they were promised Eternal Life in Him Titus 1:1-2

1Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

2In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

1 Jn 2:25

25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

And were given grace in Him 2 Tim 1:9

9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Note: Christ Jesus [The Mediator 1 Tim 2:5] existed before the world began as the Head of His Body, and even then Grace was given to them. It was therefore as their Covenant Head and also as their covenant surety [Heb 7:22], that in the fulness of time, He came made of a women to transact the covenant stipulations on their behalf. All the obedience Christ rendered from the virgin birth up unto the cross, to include all His sufferings was as a Legal Representative. Unless we understand this point, we will never understand the work of the cross or the True purpose of Paul saying " Christ died for our sins according to scripture " for He died for all those He federally represented.

Also that the work of Christ, His atoning Death
was a substitutionary one. This means that what Christ did and suffered was just not on behalf of others, but in the stead of others. Jesus took the law place for His people, having assumed their debt by imputation , and propitiated God's wrath and Justice for them, it was as God Punished us all for our sins already, This was all part of Him becoming our surety in the engagements of the everlasting covenant [also known as the new covenant] and this is what He did when He became incarnate.

What is the Gospel but a manifestation of the strategizing of our salvation and the actual accomplishment of it by Christ, its called the Eternal Purpose in Christ Eph 3:9

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

And for this cause it [the gospel] is also called the Wisdom of God in a Mystery, ordained before the world was, for our [The Church] Glory 1 Cor 2:2-7

2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

The Gospel is a Hidden Wisdom, not reveled to all Matt 13:11

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Sure to all the seed !

Romans 4:16-18

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

Contrary to what's being preached these days as the Gospel, that Christ died for all mankind without exception and has made it [salvation] possible and not sure , yet salvation has always been promised to a seed within mankind, that being the seed of Abraham[Heb 2:16]. God promised Him a seed that He would be a Father of unto all generations Gen 17:5-8

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Now it this promise paul had in mind when He wrote Rom 4:16-18. This seed would be a people of Faith from out of every nation cp Gen 17:5

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

In the hebrew " Have I made thee" is in the perfect mood meaning a completed action !

cp Rom 4:17

17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

So these were to Abrahams Children of Promise as Isaac was, He relied solely on God's Power for these Children he had been given by God in all nations.. There becoming people of Faith is as certain as Isaac was, being heir. So this numerous seed that Abraham was promised had a partial fulfillment within the gentile nations.

Truths revealed in the Gospel !

God's grace revealed in election [Rom 11:5] and Christ's effectual, particular atoning work, in that He by Himself accomplished redemption for God's elect, are both necessary for the plain, simple preaching of the God's Gospel.

These doctrines are essential factors to a saving knowledge of the Gospel, not things to be shunned to and avoided and designate later for the mature believer. These truths are necessary to the doctrines that reveal how God is just in justifying the ungodly.

They make known the True Christ whom God the Father sent to save a people[Matt 1:21]. They distinguish the true Christ from all False Christ's. They give no grounds of boasting on the sinner's part.

They display how God is absolutely sovereign in salvation, how Christ is the only effectual Savior, and how man by nature is a totally depraved sinner and dead in sin in need of sovereign grace and regeneration and, not a mere Savability or a mere possibility of being saved if he will meet certain requirements. Those who preach such are preaching a False Gospel and a False Christ 2 Cor 11:3-4

3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace ! Acts 20:24

Doctrines of the Gospel that have been neglected, such as Election of Grace, the quickening of the Spirit or Regeneration, these things have been relegated to a sub group and apart from the Gospel of God's Grace.

As the Gospel is the good news of Salvation, and Salvation is only by the Grace of God. So what doctrines in the bible enumerate what God has purposed and accomplished to save His People by Grace ?

For God had promised to save His People from their sins Matt 1:21, and the Gospel of God's Grace explains How He accomplished this.

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God

To believe the Gospel of the Grace of God is to believe everything that Grace has to say about How God saves a sinner.

A Gospel message that does not emphasize the Grace of God in Salvation, will leave room for many to think there is something he or she must do, something they must contribute, to get themselves saved, for example, like works, faith or believing, or water baptism, for this type of Gospel cannot lead one to Trust God through Christ alone in His Elective Purposes..

Not one doctrine of God's Grace in salvation should be neglected, for if we keep back any of it, we are not truthful stewards of the Mysteries of the Faith 1 Tim 3:9 and cannot say as Paul said here Acts 20:26-27

26Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

27For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

That is if we shrink back, we have been unfaithful stewards in God's sight and our motives obviously were not the Glory of God through Christ Jesus.

Evangelizing the Gospel of God's Grace in Salvation, this must consist of systematically setting forth those Truths that teach and give man no reason to boast about what he did or was enabled to do to get saved.

Everything Grace has to say about salvation is contained in the gospel i.e Eph 1:3-13 and not one word of it gives any reason for one to believe that man has any cause to boast of what he or she has done or what God has enabled them to do.

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace in Salvation !

In order to show the full extent of what the Gospel is and to show His People that the gospel of the good news of salvation is not limited to the person and work of Christ, but includes also the Father and the Work of the Spirit, who they are and what they have done, hence, this is the Gospel of the Kingdom. Now Christ is most certain in the Gospel, the very core of the Gospel is His Person and work, and none are saved apart from His work of the Cross, but the Gospel of the Kingdom deals not only with what was done by Grace through Christ, but also what is done through Grace by the Father and the Blessed Spirit too. Christ work Justifies, the Father's choosing who was to be Justified by the blood of Christ, and the Spirit quickens or gives Life to all whom the Father has chosen, and the Son died for and Justified by His blood. Rom 5:9

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

The Plan is complete and should not be restricted to one Person in the Godhead, because it can be only the complete plan of redemption by grace, and hence the Gospel of salvation by grace, when the entire work of the Trinity or Godhead is made known.

The Gospel of the Grace of God

The Plan is complete and should not be restricted to one Person in the Godhead, because it can be only the complete plan of redemption by grace, and hence the Gospel of salvation by grace, when the entire work of the Trinity or Godhead is made known.

Scripture says 2 Tim 1:9

9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Election as in the election of grace Rom 11:5-6, was due to God's purpose and grace, as well as every other aspect of salvation. Christ's work, his redeeming death, imputation of righteousness was due to the purpose and grace of God, and so was the regenerating work of the Spirit Titus 3:5-7; hence no part of salvation could have occurred without the Grace of God, James states in James 1:18, so whatever part of salvation is due to God's will, purpose and grace, should be in the Gospel, the word of Truth.

For when the Gospel of the Grace of God is rightly taught in the whole counsel of God, from election to glorification, it gives no room for man to boast.

For man to have been saved by Grace through Faith, man had to be elected by God the Father solely according to Grace Eph 1:4-6; Rom 11:5-7; he had to have a Mediator Saviour to obey the law for him and die for his sins, establishing and imputing to him righteousness, then man had to have a new birth from the Spirit, No salvation could have taken place without these Three facets, and so no true Gospel is preached without these being made known !

For us to fully, properly and biblically believe in Salvation by Grace, one must know of all the doctrines of Grace, for these Grace doctrines are essential to saving Faith [the evidence of it] because each doctrine is mandatory to a proper understanding, that one may see how, and believe why Salvation is all of grace, so that's why they ought be preached as gospel, and why paul says Acts 20:27

27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

God's Salvation plan is a counsel Eph 1:4-13 and the Gospel reveals it.

One must see through Gospel preaching how that Salvation from election to glorification is all by the Sovereign Grace of God. For Salvation is wholly dependent upon the Sovereign Grace of God, and not one iota of it depends on what man must do. The gospel reveals to us the spiritual condition or state of man by nature, even the elect prior to salvation or conversion Eph 2:1-3 & Rom 1:18-3:20. Therefore the doctrine that teaches the total depravity or inability of men by nature, mans inability to come to God or to even desire the True God or Christ Jn 6:44; Rom 3:11, for this doctrine is essential to teaching the Gospel of God's Grace, it gives criteria in understanding why Salvation must be by Sovereign Grace. Even though we have scripture in Rom 1:19-21

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Yet we cannot overlook 1 Cor 1:21

21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

The world does not know God experimentally through its wisdom and natural reasoning, no matter how superior, so there is a knowing God theoretically without Knowing Him experimentally.
