            My question is this:

Is it alright to fix grammar and spelling mistakes in the person's post we're quoting provided that instead of removing the bad spelling/grammar, we leave it in the quoted post, but put the [STRIKE][/STRIKE] tags around the bad grammar/spelling and put the correction before/after it?

For example, Keypurr for whatever reason can't learn to use "you're" instead of "your", and vice versa. Would it be fine to do this?:

If you monkey around with wenches, is that racist?

That was my realization as well. There's an oh-so-important difference between saying you value "God's Truth" and proclaiming yourself "God's Truth" to the extent that when someone disagrees with you the response becomes "You're opposing God's Truth!"

I suppose if a liberal said that about Trump, it would be "speaking truth to power" (the new liberal mantra).

That's fine. It doesn't change the meaning of the post. Often spellings are ruined by autocorrect. I constantly have to deal with autocorrect messing up my posts. Keypurr might be dealing with autocorrect. It does that to my posts.

Proofreading one's own post before posting it is also a good idea, so that one can catch any mistakes.

                      Thanks for the response.

Religion is man's attempt to make himself acceptable to God. Christianity is God making man acceptable to Himself.

It is true that Trump does not fit modern Republican principles, but that is because modern Republican principles have strayed far from conservatism. genuineoriginal
