feeling old is no good at all. seeing future years as being less able and more dependent is not any fun. worrying about your health in doleful and depressing.

and no sane person wants life to end, we just live though it.

what wound you say to this type of newbie?

First, lower the settings of the firewall a wee bit and use a good anti-malware tool, like Malwarebytes.

Second, get some sleep! Buy some melatonin. ;)

I would say you've come to the right place. I can tell I'll love you already. I have no doubt you bring a great deal of wisdom with you, and look forward to your sharing it with the rest of us here on TOL. :)
