Hi guys!
Alas, another newbie, here.
My real name is Tim. I am from California originally, and not live in Austin, TX. After being a rabid and even at-times hostile atheist I was Born Again a few months ago. Why God had the patience and Grace to keep me in mind is beyond me, as I have spent much of my life in a rousing state of Sin! LOL.
But I am also a science guy, I have a degree in one of its fields. I work in that field. On most things paranormal or supernatural I am s skeptic. But the time came when, try as I may, I could not dismiss God's Grace any longer. I am not a Fundamentalist, religiously speaking. I guess some would call me one of the "progressive" or "liberal" Christians. (Not "liberal" politically, however--more of a Moderate, leaning to the Right!)
Ahh..but there will be time to discuss all of that. I look forward to some spirited discussion and debate, especially with Atheist. I know all the arguments, as I used to be one. At least as big as anybody here, I reckon! LOL.
