Is Calvinism Wrong?

God's Grace is never unmerited.
There is always something a person has to do to merit God's Grace.

Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

If you don't accept Christ as your savior, you haven't merited God's Grace.

The only thing that God requires of us is that we believe in his Son Jesus Christ, Ephesians 1:13.

Jesus said, that he came into the world to save the world, John 12:47.

You seem to think that he is a liar.

But according to scrpture there are two different worlds [kosmos]

An eternally forgiven World 2 Cor. 5:19;

Rom. 4:7-8

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

And an eternally condemned World 1 Cor. 11:32 !

That is a false doctrine.

The adversary loves to make that statement, but the Word of God has something different to say.

James 4:6
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Dear Genuine: The adversary nothing! You will note in your quote He "giveth".

What part of "NOT" is evading your grasp?

"NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He has saved us."

Yes, God's Grace is never unmerited.
The Bible tells us what we need to do to merit God's Grace.

Dear Genuine: The Bible tells us what we need to do to "merit God's grace". God's grace is NEVER unmerited."

What end will you go to, to make God a liar and Calvinism the truth.

There is only one world. It is the world that God loves and sent his Son to save, John 3:16.

"It wasn't so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back. But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in, he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people, washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit. Our Savior Jesus poured out new life so generously. God's gift has restored our relationship with him and given us back our lives. And there's more life to come - an eternity of life!"

Those aren't your words. Not that it matters who much said that, but if you're going to quote instead of speaking for yourself please give the reference?

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is blasphemy against the Gospel. No one will be saved that does not believe that Jesus has atoned for their sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2.

Salvation always has been and always will be by grace through faith. There will be many in the "Lord, Lord, didn't we" group that believe their religion is what saved them, Matthew 7:21-23.

That's a passage for which people have different ideas. Thanks for your answer.

"NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He has saved us."
The scriptures do not say that "works of" righteousness can merit God's Grace.
But the scriptures do instruct us in how to merit God's Grace apart from "works of" righteousness.

You remain in disbelief of the scriptures and deny the Power of the Blood of Christ to save all for whom it was shed.

False and unlearned statement. Jesus in n 17:9 says theres a world He doesn't pray for:

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

For one to believe that this world for whom Christ refused to pray for is the same world that He Loved and gave Himself for is deceived !

Dear Genuine: I will state it again, and again if necessary! The love and grace of our great God is unmerited by any and all of the broken wrecks of sin. ALL!

"NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He has saved us."

Repeat: NOT!

Repeat: "but according to His mercy He has saved us."

The God that you serve is unjust, unmerciful, unrighteous and is not the God of the Bible. What you believe about God and his Son Jesus Christ is what will condemn you to hell.

You teach sinners Christ died for are condemned to hell which makes His death of no effect !
