My neighbor is not interested in anything but sex, money and food. I feed him occasionally and give him money to mow and weed-whack my yard. I feed his dogs when he is out of town and cut his hair when he asks. He does NOT want to attend church with me so that leaves me praying for his soul and living my witness.

    What else would you recommend?

What is interesting... and sad, is that, you were very kind to him when he first started posting on TOL.

Catholics are "Workers" that pray to idols and to Mary the Mother of Jesus. They have a "works-based belief system." They follow "another Gospel." It's not based on the Grace Gospel as preached by the Apostle Paul.

The Catholic church does not preach the truth of God's word/Grace.

If this is for me I endeavor to be kind to all people.

Maybe he's having a bad day?

I also, always, endeavor to love others as I love myself AND Romans 13:8.

you seem to be doing all the right things

I've been "wasting" my time on my neighbor for eleven years. His "god" is Lillith and he hates women.

helping your neighbor is a good thing
                            -complaining about it is not
-there is a difference between helping and enabling

I have no idea where you get "complaining" or "enabling."

My bible says "Give to him who asks of you and to him who would borrow from you, turn not thou away -Matt. 5:42.

Just WHAT do YOU think loving your neighbor entails?
