You're welcome. It was very poetic. And deep. I love this part:

    -she never gets upset
    -she just recalculates

    That's a good learning moment.

-I also study google maps before I go and take notes
-I also take paper maps with me
    -but
-hopefully will never have to use them again
Paper maps are good to have on a road trip because you might not have phone signal in some areas. I like map reading and will do the same thing, go over the route on Google first and sometimes print it out, depending. You're lucky though, you have amy. Maybe if I knew my navigator's name she would be more helpful.

Tried and waited then got tired, that's about it

Well, I was (sort of) trying to be diplomatic.

      I avoid Google.
I do too, but admit there are some things I Iike, so I try to keep them from being able to aggregate my information. I like Google maps but I don't log in when I use it. I don't log into youtube, and I almost always use Bing for searches. That kind of thing. But in the end it's probably all pretty ineffective and in the end they'll know everything anyway and at some point we'll all be assimilated.

Yeah, because it's hard to find a restaurant with all the signs and the actual building and a parking lot there. You're sill LOST

                            • Had a great morning. First day of a nearly four week break between semesters and I was wondering what to do with it when God nudged me in a direction. Love it when that happens. Hadn't had a thought of the little church on the hill that I attend and the next thing I know I'm led to clean it...couldn't have been clearer if my mother had walked into the room and said, "You know, since you have this free time, you should go give the church a good cleaning." So I call the wife to tell here where I'll be, pack up the gear and before you know it I'm cleaning laughing and singing in my church. More work than I thought it would be. Best sweat I've broken in a while and the place needed it...it's always fine when God gives us something to do for His pleasure. A real and present blessing.
