You could ask everyone not to take GM so seriously due to his age.

BTW, not everyone go cookoo when they get old. we dont know about GM because we dont know his former self.

Not necessarily, no.

It is so unchristian behavior.
Not unless they say something unChrisitian in the rep, no.

And they claim true and saved Christians.
I doubt everyone who neg reps you is a Christian.

I think they should be exposed
What, you think they're hiding the fact? :chuckle:

would you say most of the these christians are not concerned about how they treat their neighbor?
I'd say a neg rep, absent untoward language, is a form of objection at best and a petty slight at worst. But I can't help noticing that your consideration is a bit one sided. When you have a number of established members from very different views neg repping you (especially those who aren't known for the practice) the greater likelihood is that you've done something to merit it. It's at least worth considering.

they love only whom they like. It is not of Jesus. Jesus says to love your enemy. We should never hold grudge on anyone.
And yet you keep people on ignore. Heck, you put me there just for disagreeing with you about love and long before I'd ever given you a neg rep for the whole thread with my name on it. :Plain:

They are behaving like teenage bullies who aim and attack weak ones.
So a person should be allowed to be as rude as they like so long as they're new? :AMR: And how do you mean weak or strong. Chrys has the most rep power around here. Is he being a bully by giving a neg rep to anyone else?

they feel safe to do it because I am the least popular here. It is cowardly behavior. How would it be cowardly if you can see who it is and they're the same people you have on ignore for publicly challenging you before you...hide from them. Brave Sir Robin indeed.

neg repping has bothered me a lot
Then you should stop doing it. :Plain:

I mostly don't care for it so I mostly don't do it.

Well, he's your pal, for one. And I called his bluff on that and he threw his cards and a tantrum. In my experience when someone makes a claim and won't back it up, even or especially when doing so would get rid of a thorn in their side, they're lying.

About as effective as a PBS fund raiser during sweeps week.
Sweeps week is when whatever media, like television, puts on its strongest line up and uses the resulting ratings to advance ad revenue contracts with advertisers.

Nothing is worse for ratings than a fund raiser. PBS is about as dry an example of that as could be imagined.

Now put them together. :Plain:

Originally, because of the way he wrote, then a pic I saw he'd posted of himself online. I'd just wanted him to 'fess up to Chrysostom on his own accord.

Then, maybe he posted a fake picture, or the picture was 50 years old. Who knows.

You have to know what Jesus teaches and commands in over all to discern what kind of meeting they are holding as far as practice of their faith is concerned, friend.

Do you have confidence that you know everything what Jesus teaches? All professed Christians should know.

and unfortunately, in the mainstream world, most of them dont know even simple and basic of Jesus' teachings.

Your lamentations are empty and the only thing exposed was your actual indifference and willingness to use allies to make a point at their expense.

Get a clue, Chrys.

It isn't that he doesn't understand. He's distracting you and changing focus. That's what he does. He's aggressive in inquiry to an end. He hides in plain sight by means of that very thing. And he's much better at it than his old partner was, which almost makes me feel like apologizing. Almost.

I'm going to go into a book I read by a brilliant psychiatrist, M. Scott Peck, who was of the Body and is now with God. It's a discussion in part of the banality of evil in our lives and an examination of a personality type that promotes it. At the end of that discussion you'll understand why Chrys is unlikely to ever contribute, why he not only doesn't but can't meaningfully apologize or see a harm he works, his responsibility in GM's exile, why when caught in a lie or hypocritical practice he simply steps over it or justifies it with some service to an end he has set in place. It's why he can label people who appear to share a common end as though they were enemies and concentrate of a divisive method that doesn't actually hold promise of resolving an issue he claims to be invested in. It's also why he can be relatively charming so long as you hold some utility and remarkably indifferent the moment you don't.

He's a rather classic study. And the only reason I didn't see it earlier was that he's that good at it. But it does explain why he found Sod useful and why and how he's manipulated meshak and GM, assuming the latter isn't a sock puppet.

Sometime in the near future I'll do a break down of the book and you can apply it as you see fit, but I think you'll have a real "wow" moment.

I don't think so. I thought he wanted have a spotlight on himself in his exit, and a nice big bow wrapping up the thread. In a way, similar to when he deleted all of his posts before leaving before. The grand gesture.
