Can worship ever be something that is taught? Perhaps using programs or church involvement?
Definitely. A study of the words translated as worship in English is a good place to start. In the Psalms, at least ten different Hebrew words are translated worship or praise or give thanks, etc. But they each have unique meanings in Hebrew.

Here is one link that I just glanced over. I'm sure there are others well. This is not a plug, just a helpful starting reference. I cannot vouch for the website at all.

Well I believe a better place to start for understanding the "ways of God" can only be when one is born again; when "worship TO God" takes on one meaning per John 3:3,5 KJV.

I'm sorry. I mistook your question as a request for information.
