This is a good book. It will get you started. I'm sure there are plenty of websites you could google.

I'm sure Barnes Noble or any big bookstore would have it.

I used to do a lot of it. Wine, mead, mead ale, and beer.

The easiest way I know of for beer is to get a Coopers kit, (the "dark ale" or "stout") and add about 3 lb's of dry malt to it, and then dry hop it in the carboy. Adding honey is good too. Makes 5 gallons, about 2 cases of awesome beer cheap, in about 3 weeks. 2 weeks if you keg it, or 3 if you bottle.

I'm havin a brew party when my first batch is done. All are invited to partake!

Anyone know any particularly good mixes of hops and barly? I bet part of the fun is concoting your own crazy flavors.

I should really look into this. Being raised German Lutheran I almost obliged to drink beer.

BTW, I had some of my friends homebrew mead, and that stuff is really good. I can't believe someone doesn't make it commercially.

Vaquero45 makes the best honey mead ever. I always make him bring some to Thanksgiving dinner. :cheers:

I went to pay-pal in a time of need; there is something not all together right with pay-pal.
