Have You Been Reconciled Unto God By Jesus Christ?

If you have been reconciled unto God by Jesus Christ then you will not need to be predestinated, nor will you need to join the Catholic church or any religion.

HOW DID JESUS RECONCILE US UNTO GOD?

Calvinist do not know the answer to this question, nor do they want to know. If they knew the answer to this question they would not be Calvinist. They would be Christians. Catholics and others believe that they had a hand in this process of reconciliation. That just is not possible because Jesus reconciled us and the world unto God over 2000 years ago, before we were ever born.

"And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and has given unto us the ministry of reconciliation. To wit that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation (The Gospel). Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ stead, be ye reconciled unto God" 2 Corinthians 5:18-20.

If you have ALREADY been reconciled unto God by Jesus Christ then why do you need a religion? If Jesus in your name and on your behalf, has ALREADY fulfilled every jot and tittle of God's Holy Law Matthew 5:18, then how are you going to top that? Even if you could, which you can't, because you are a sinner, Romans 3:10. Your very best is still sin in God's eyes.

Religion is not the way. Jesus said, "I am the way, No man can come to the Father but by me" John 14:6. Having fulfilled all of the demands of God's Holy Law, Jesus in our name and on our behalf became sin for us.

"For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" 2 Corinthians 5:21.

There you are. In your name and on your behalf Jesus fulfilled God's Holy Law and then atoned for for your sins, means that you are perfect and complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10 and have been thoroughly and completely reconciled unto God by Jesus Christ. All that is required now is that you accept this great free gift of salvation that God has provided for us in Jesus Christ. "Be ye reconciled unto God".

All that is required now is that you...

Given that something else is required, thoroughly and completely are really just almost thoroughly and completely, despite their plain meanings. You cannot run around making up new definitions for words to support your numerous oddities, Robert.

What exactly, other than the date posted, in this latest blog entry of yours, stands as unique from any of your many others that have been answered time and again? :idunno:

To get out of the rut you seem to be stuck in and to perhaps broaden your horizons, here are some suggested topics for discussion that you might find interesting and worth blogging about in the future.

It appears that you are anti-Gospel and anti-Christ.

Not only are you anti-Gospel and anti-Christ, you are also anti-Bible. You don't have an answer for 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, so you attack me.

You will be reconciled unto God when you renounce your Calvinist religion and trust in Christ alone.

Robert, each time you post the reference, I just have to wince at just how much you do not understand.

As I have stated to others about this passage, what you fail to understand is that the passage (2 Corinthians 5:18-21) is not a teleprompter text. The “us” in these and all passages similarly, are the believing ones. More particularly for this passage, the ambassadors of the ministry of reconciliation, the ordained servants. Parse it out.

“Now then, we (believing ministers) are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us (believing ministers): we (believing ministers) implore you (the unreconciled, the non-believer) on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us (believing ministers), that we (believing ministers) might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Remember when I have responded to you instead of claiming otherwise:

It is beyond your comprehension that God has ALREADY reconciled the world unto himself by his Son Jesus Christ.
It just doesn't fit with your Calvinist doctrine. If God has ALREADY reconciled the world unto himself by Jesus Christ that should be the end of your religion. But knowing you, you will just dismiss the whole thing and continue on as usual.

Rather than all this deflection, Robert, why not be honorable enough to admit the accusation made:

You don't have an answer for 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, so you attack me.

was untrue?

You have been answered in the past and in the present, you just do not like the answer, nor do you understand the passage you appeal to.

No, that was some sort of a smoke screen and not an answer.

Answer the question in less than 50 words.

If God has ALREADY reconciled us and the world unto himself by Jesus Christ, then what good is Calvinism?

"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their sins unto them" 2 Corinthians 5:19.

No, that was some sort of a smoke screen and not an answer.
Which is what you say to all responses given to you that substantively deal with your errors. You rely upon this tactic to avoid standing still long enough to actually defend your numerous heterodoxies. So who really here has a smokescreen up and running? :AMR:

Your world is not Scripture's world:

"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their sins unto them" 2 Corinthians 5:19.

(1) On "world" - see above

(2) You obviously do not understand imputation, as "not imputing their sins unto them" is exactly correct:

http://theologyonline.com/showthrea...mputed-Death&p=4928249&viewfull=1#post4928249
(in particular, see the spoiler entry on the matter of imputation).

That's less than fifty words, so stop with these childish throw downs. This is primarily a theological discussion site, not Dominoe's Pizza where every topic is 50 words or less or it's free.

Now how about you answer my rejoinders substantively in as many words as it takes you to actually make a real argument, and not merely more naked assertions or vitriol?

Wait for it. Wait...for likely what is to come from you will not be an actual well thought out argument, but just more complaints and polemics in hopes no one will actually notice your inability to sustain an argument to its conclusion.

Not only have you rejected the Gospel and justification by faith. You reject God's word. If Jesus did not atone for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD then Jesus is not Lord and should be removed from his position at the right hand of God. You reject the Gospel. You reject the Bible. You reject the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It appears to me that you are about as hell bound as you can get.

Every sinner Christ died for was reconciled to God by His death while they were enemies, and shall be saved by His Life Rom 5:10

Of course and the Bible explicitly says that Jesus has atoned for the sins of the whole world. This means that salvation has been provided for everyone, Hebrews 2:9.

You teach that sinners Christ died for are still lost and unsaved, contradiction to Rom 5:10

Sent from my 5054N using TheologyOnline mobile app

You teach that God predestinates billions of people to hell before they are born. It is not possible to have saving faith in that kind of a God. What you have faith in is a doctrine that was conceived in the mind of a heretic.
