For me it was H. M. S. Richards of the Voice of Prophecy.
He sturred up my interest in Theology. That was way back in the early 1950's.

Though he would never classify himself as such, Oswald Chambers. The ongoing publications of his writings testify to it being so. The only book I believe might be greater in sales is the KJV Bible.
