Reason #637 to Escape Public School

This is the show from Tuesday February 8th 2011.

SUMMARY:

* Charter Schools Give False Sense of Security: After the latest disgusting criminal charges against a teacher, Bob Enyart urged parents not to trick themselves into thinking that godless charter public schools are any safer for their children than any other godless public schools. Update: Right after the show, a listener who was in a charter school parking lot to pick up his child called in to thank Bob for telling the truth, to ask for help in finding Christian education options for his family, and to pledge $20 a month to keep BEL on the air for another year!

* Jamie from Indiana Called About His Wife's Critical Pregnancy with Tiny Twins: Jamie called to talk through the difficult circumstance that he and his wife and their two unborn children are in, and the added difficulty of having doctors who are always eager to find ways to justify killing an unborn child. Post-show Note: Psychoanalyzing these doctors, Bob Enyart observes that to assuage their guilt over their support for elective abortion (i.e., the killing of unborn children for any reason whatsoever), pro-abortion medical professionals are always looking for "good" reasons to convincing loving parents to kill an unborn child. Why would they do this? Well, if there are good reasons for intentionally killing an unborn baby, then that baby cannot have a God-given right to life, and so abortion generally must be acceptable, and that's how these mass-murdering child killers lie to themselves. Post-show Update: Jamie and his wife are consulting with nurse practitioner and CRTL spokeswoman Lolita Hanks!

* BEL's February Telethon to Keep Bob On the Air: So far we're at 74 folks (of our goal of 100) giving $20 a month and $2,500 of $20,000! Please consider donating, pledging or subscribing to keep Bob Enyart Live on air for another year, on Denver's 50,000-watt AM 670 KLTT -- America's #1 most-powerful Christian radio station. In return, we pledge to use these funds to continue to reach more and more people around America and around the world with:
- the truth of God's existence
- the strongest evidence against evolution
- the moral clarity of God's Word
- the right strategy to re-criminalize child killing, and
- the mountain of evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

So please help BEL stay on the air for another year by giving whatever you can afford toward our goal of raising $20,000 or 100 people pledging $20 a month (including those who currently selflessly give to BEL who might increase their giving by $20)! You can give online, either a one-time donation, a monthly pledge, or subscribe to Bob's monthly Bible Studies, BEL Televised Classics, sermons, or topical videos.

Today’s Resource: Now you can order Focus on the Strategy 3 as well as Focus on the Strategy 1 & 2 DVD combo containing the blockbuster analysis of pro-life and political strategy. Focus on the Strategy, advertised by other ministries as the DVD of the Century, is the blockbuster analysis of Christian political strategy, filmed before a live audience of 300 Christian activists revealing a presentation given to Focus on the Family to Dr. James Dobson's V.P. Tom Minnery and their Public Policy group. And the sequel, film festival finalist Focus on the Strategy II, with its dozens of video and audio clips which has extraordinary endorsements from many Christian leaders as the must see video for everyone who wants to end 'legalized' abortion. And now, Focus 3 presents American RTL's three-pronged strategy of how to end abortion! Please watch these vitally important videos online or order the above DVDs, and consider getting a set for a friend, for a pro-life leader or activist you know, and for your local pro-life organization!

Doesn't that violate classifications anyway? i.e. It is deemed not suitable for children that age and thus teachers need parental permission to show it. Thats how it works here at least.

Yeah, I'd think anything R-rated would need a parental sign off, or something.

Violence is fine, but they're prudes when it comes to sex.

It isn't fine. As good as movies like "Unfogiven" and "Saving Private Ryan" are, children don't need to see it. Especially young ones.

Point taken, but I meant that usually the MPAA has stricter standards for sexual content in a film as opposed to violence.

It was also on radio. You do not believe the story? :vomit:

You've been around here long enough to understand the "rules" when it comes to debating atheists and their limp wristed Christian allies.

Everything that THEY say should be taken as the unadultered truth.

Everything that WE (conservative Christians) say must be backed up with a notary public, a FBI background check, and approval from Arianna Huffington.

Teachers molesting students isn't new.

I tried sending my son to a charter school for a while but gave up after I could not make the mandatory work parties for the parents. My son did not benefit from it much. I ended up homeschooling him.

I used to work at a charter school. I was their regular, on call, substitute teacher. It was one of the better schools I worked for.

Oh, on radio. then it must be accurate.

It was also reported on radio. The The Chicago Sun-Times isn't reputable enough for you, fair enough. I appreciate that you recognize the wickedness of the situation-- if it were true. :dizzy:

Would you show Brokeback Mountain? Also, would you sue if they fired you for your perversion? :vomit: Deut 22:5, Mt 19:4.
