I dunno, maybe...

Forgiven (Re 1:5).

For me to live is Christ, and to die gain (Phil 1:21).

If we die with him, we will also live with him (2 Ti 2:11).

Lived happily ever after (Zep 3:17).

Where, O death, is thy sting? 1 Cor 15:15

or

Gone to get my crown (Jas 1:12). :king:

Here lies a vagabond, cut down in his prime. Should have took the train.....

What? He isn't there? Where'd he go this time?

Death be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those who thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure - then, from thee much more must flow;
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou'rt slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well,
And better than thy stroke. Why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally,
And death shall be no more. Death, thou shall die.

-John Donne

As you can see, I plan on having a large headstone.:chuckle:

Pray for me at the altar of sacrifice,
and remember me at the tabernacle.
Beseech the Lord in the Eucharist:
that I might not perish on the Last Day.

"Jesus, remember me!"

I would prefer to be cmated also. But if there were an epitaph,I'd want it to say "He was his own man and thought for himself".

Life

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.

Now . . . Thomas’ journey is “Over”
Gratefully . . . Thomas’ toiling has “Ended”
Joyfully . . . Thomas’ “Finally Home”

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith the faith.

2 Timothy 4:7

As always, Psalmist's post was heartwarming and uplifting. May we all pray that God grant him and us likewise. :cloud9:
