Socialism is anti-Christ—so Christians cannot vote Democrat

Socialism is un-Christian, because it means an untrustworthy entity has control of your life, your business, etc. How can you trust government when it is run by ambitious, usually dishonest politicians whom you have no way of really knowing? Well, you can’t. You can barely “trust government” no matter how “good” the person(s) in charge are, much less when dishonest (Democrat/liberal) people are in charge. I was praying the other day and it hit me like a ton of bricks: how my life was normal and even happy when the Rs were running things (Ford, Reagan, Bush), and were seriously abnormal and depressing, chaotic and etc… when the liberals were. Can you say the same thing? I will bet there are MILLIONS out there who, if they went over their past life with a fine tooth comb (or even not so fine) would see the exact same pattern. Liberals give us: high utility bills (because they care about the environment, so they say.. more than human beings). Liberals give us massive regulations for the same supposed reason and a few other stupid “reasons.” Liberals hate human beings. Never forget that.

Never forget that! Need more proof? Planned Parenthood.. partial-birth abortion. I rest my case

Please do NOT vote for Hillary OR Sanders OR Trump (he is not a Conservative, has supported Dems all his adult life).. They are all socialists. Only one is honest enough to admit it (Sanders).

All throughout history Christians have seen the evil of socialism. The Catholic Church has always condemned it, right along with Communism and extreme Islamism

at first i was mystified at seeing conservative states like OK, NE, KS going for Sanders.

As bad as Clinton is, she is not as socialist (or is she?) as Sanders. But you know, those states choose Sanders for the same reason i would (if i had no choice): he is honest. He doesn't have scandals galore, he doesn't have the FBI investigating him for alleged crimes.

i would rather have Sanders than that Liberal-in-Republican-clothing candidate running as a R.. you know, the one who refers to himself (literally) 25 times in 1 minute ("I", "me" etc),

literally.. i counted once. No, actually i counted more than once, and it was just as bad the 2nd time

socialism promises economic security but does not deliver. And even if it did, you would have to trade that for freedom and other rights. We should never let the governemnt have absolute power over us. Some say a governemnt system is the anti-Christ or will produce the anti-Christ

Acts 2 KJV
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Acts 4 KJV
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

those who rule their lives by their own human interpretation of God's Word, in addition to always being confused.. come up with this kind of simplistic idea [above], which they think is so end-the-discussion-like. I'm glad I am not one of those

What Christian in their right mind would want to vote Democrat??

The first time I ever voted was in 1980. I voted for Ronald W. Reagan. The 80s were a special time. Obama came out of nowhere and suddenly he became the President of the U.S. Hopefully, that was just an anomaly? I've always voted Republican and probably always will. My Parents were both Democrats while I was growing up. Later in my Mom's life, she turned Republican. No doubt under the influence of her only Son. (GM)

I always like stories about people who repent--or grow up--or mature, or however you want to put it

And the alternative to "their own human interpretation of God's Word," would be....? An alien's interpretation? Yours? You have a pipeline to God, do you?

i voted when i was a teenager, but i didn't know what i was doing. Technically, i didn't know what i was doing until some years ago, meaning i didnt study the issues as they deserve to be studied--weird, didn't know what i was missing, although some info..! You feel like u could live without

as a matter of fact i do, it's called Christ's Church

He didn't establish one of those for no reason

"it's called Christ's Church"-you

And that would be who, according to you? Unpack it for us.

"human interpretation"-you

So, members of this "Christ's Church" that you cite, as responsible for interpreting "God's Word," are not human? Aliens?

Biblically, respective members of the body of Christ, humans, are the church.

Father, must I get into the ditch with him/her?

Chapter, verse, that does not allow for interpreting scripture by "humans."

Christ established a CHURCH, not a book. (Mt 16:18, etc)

The Book was not put together until after the printing press was invented in 1440. Yeh, the primitive forms were there, but even they did not exist until DECADES after Christ left Earth

no christians until the Bible as we know it came around??

1 Timothy 3:15 KJV but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

No, the church is described as a pillar. What does a pillar do? Support. The church, fallible "humans," merely supports the existing, objective truth as established by the scriptures.

And get this, drone-you would have no objective knowledge, of "Christ," w/o the book, the scripture, which is "true from the beginning," by which He is revealed-NADA.

"The Book was not put together until after the printing press was invented in 1440"-you

Made up.

Romans 9:17 KJV
Forthe scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

Exodus 9:16 KJV
And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

Thus, what scripture says, the LORD God says.

"For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh,"

No "prayer warriors," like Benny Hinn/Hill available, Mayor, to clean up this mess/grave yard called earth, to make it acceptable, by "bringing in the kingdom," before the King arrives? Ineffective UN? Maybe U Thant can be raised from the dead, to hep out?

Watching Politics 10 hours a day and being obsessed with electing the new leader of satan's kingdom on this earth is a large waste of time, and sheer Breenism, wouldn't you say?

We often engage in "unrehearsed, spontaneous, witty banter," Mayor, but, on a serious note, I agree. This world is not "evolving," but "de-volving," and will get worse, and no amount of massaging, "cleaning up," air freshener, to allegedly make this a "better place for good, Christian folks" in which to live, will be effective, until the great God and Saviour, a "man of war"(Exodus 15:3 KJV) returns, to put an end to this mess, this "present evil world"(Galatians 1:4 KJV)

The first coming-to resolve the sin/sins issue.

The second coming, "the second time"(Acts 7:13 KJV, Hebrews 9:28 KJV)-to resolve the evil issue.

Not technically correct. Since Christ is Lord, it is He who established His Word.
Jesus often referred to scripture as an absolute source of truth. We should do likewise.

??
Are you suggesting that because the OT did not exist in book form (Only as scrolls) that it somehow is not valid? Are you suggesting that if we don't have proof Moses witnessed all the events in the Pentateuch, that we pick and choose what to believe?

Likewise with the New Testament. We actually have good evidence the Gospels were written in a reasonably short time after the resurrection. But even if it was hundreds of years later, it wouldn't matter since it is God breathed inerrant scripture. (Evidenced by internal and external proofs, as well as other methods of confirming Divine inspiration)

We all too often have socialism for the rich and rugged free market capitalism for the poor.
