"According to what the Bible is presenting it does appear that 7 October will be the day that God has spoken of: in which, the world will pass away," church founder Chris McCann told the Guardian.

"It'll be gone forever. Annihilated," he said.

McCann claims to have studied the Bible and extrapolated from a previous claim that the world was ending on May 21, 2011, that the correct date is actually October 7.

It's based partly on the blood moon – a lunar eclipse combined with a super moon – which occurred on Sept. 27.

"God destroyed the first Earth with water, by a flood, in the days of Noah. And he says he'll not do that again, not by water. But he does say in 2nd Peter 3 that he'll destroy it by fire," McCann said.

Jesus purges the world out of a man with fire.

Each in his own time according to his measure of faith. :chuckle:

Romans 14:4 KJV

4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth . Yea, he shall be holden up : for God is able to make him stand .

While i dont put any stock into the claim myself, isnt it a bit premature to claim it failed, its still 10/7 and the day isnt over yet?

Most of the predictions of this type are based on odd calculations that do not have anything to do with what the Bible says.

The group that put this prediction out have a discussion on whether 1600 furlongs means 1600 years or 1600 races as part of the calculations of this prediction.

It is now safe to state that the world did not end on Oct 7 2015.

Another one who thinks he knows more than even Jesus does.

Mark 13:32 "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

This kind of prediction comes from mixing 1st century Judean events with the worldwide judgement of God. The only thing that really shows from the Rev that has to do with 'events on earth' just before the judgement of God is the 'little period of rebellion' at the end of Christ's reign. But it affects believers all over the world and ends in being overturned by the final day of judgement.

The Christian believer should be confident that if such insidious rebellion increases, the day of judgement is closer.

"Mt 24:44 at an hour you do not expect. The parables that follow teach Christ’s followers to be ready in case He comes sooner than anticipated (vv. 43–51); and also to be prepared in case He delays longer than expected (25:1–13)." After much research and prayer it was a spiritual ending. Doh and/or Duh.

I meant Oct 7, 2016. I forgot to start at 1 instead of 0. Simple mistake anybody could have made it.

:D

Same time next year, K?

Got to be right eventually....

October 8th (http://www.ebiblefellowship.com/archives/2015/10/08/october-8th/)

Dear friends,

For some time now E Bible Fellowship (and myself) have been looking towards October 7th as the likely end of the world. We believed there was a strong likelihood that God would complete His judgment and bring about the world’s destruction on that day. There was much biblical information pointing to this date and we freely shared it with all. Yet, consistently stressing throughout the entire time period that the world ending on that date was a “strong likelihood.” Since it is now October 8th it is now obvious that we were incorrect regarding the world’s ending on the 7th.

At least they admitted they were incorrect.

The Day of the Lord

http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e195/PrimroseSue/Smileys/11aeg03jpg_zps8f9e6d03.gif

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing (1 Th 5:1–12). http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/images/smilies/peek.gif

Revelation 22:20
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
